Our implementing strategies are set to engage governments and communities for adaptive measures to prevent shocks and setting up resilient solutions to build their resilience to climate change, conflict.

    Our programs aim to create a healthier natural environment through afforestation, soil fertility measures and water management. furthermore, the construction or rehabilitation of basic infrastructures such as roads, bridges, schools, marketplaces, and community granaries and the provision of alternative source of energy reduces the risks and impact of climate shocks, increase food productivity, and strengthen resilience to disasters over time.

    At HCI-Maendeleo, strengthen communities capacities to enrich millions of vulnerable people with resilient and sustainable solutions to food and livelihood security.
